SnoreAxis is a wellness app that helps you understand how your sleep position
relates to snoring. This policy covers two separate things: the SnoreAxis iPhone
app, and this website, snoreaxis.com, where you can order a Sensor Kit. They work
very differently, so we've kept them apart below.

Short version: the app keeps your nights on your phone. The website only knows what you tell it when you place an order or ask to be notified.



PART 1 — THE SNOREAXIS APP

YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
Your sleep sessions — position history, sound levels, snore counts, and any notes
you add — are stored locally on your iPhone. We don't run a server that collects or
stores your sleep history, and we can't see it. Deleting the app deletes it.

NO ACCOUNT
SnoreAxis has no login or user account. The app doesn't ask for your name, your
email, or your date of birth, and it contains no advertising, no analytics trackers,
and no third-party marketing tools.

MICROPHONE
The app uses your microphone to detect snoring and other sleep sounds. Audio is
processed and stored locally on your device so you can play back moments of your
night, and is deleted automatically after 2 days. Recordings are never uploaded to us.

BLUETOOTH
The app uses Bluetooth to read the small chest-worn RuuviTag sensor that measures your sleep position. This connection is used only to read sensor data. It doesn't identify you and it doesn't use your location.

OPTIONAL AI MORNING REPORT
If you tap "Generate My Morning Report," the app sends a short summary of that one night — time in each position, snore counts, your Quality Sleep Indicator, and any notes you chose to add — to our processing service, which passes it to a third-party AI provider (currently Anthropic) to write a plain-language recap. It includes no name, no contact details, no audio, and no raw recordings, and it isn't kept after
the report is written.

This only happens when you tap the button. If you never tap it, nothing ever leaves
your device.



PART 2 — SNOREAXIS.COM (ORDERS AND THE WEBSITE)

This website is separate from the app. It does not receive your sleep data. Buying a
Sensor Kit does not connect your order to anything the app records, and there is no way for us to link the two.

WHEN YOU ORDER A SENSOR KIT
To take an order and get a package to you, we collect your name, shipping address,
email address, and phone number if you give us one. Your payment is processed by
Square; we never see or store your full card number. We keep order records — what you bought, where it shipped, and what you paid — for as long as we need them to handle returns, warranty claims, and our tax and accounting obligations.

WHEN YOU ASK TO BE NOTIFIED
If you enter your email in the "Notify Me" box, we use it for one purpose: to tell you
when the SnoreAxis app is live on the App Store and Sensor Kit orders are open. We don't sell that list, we don't rent it, and you can ask us to remove you at any time by emailing sleep@snoreaxis.com.

WHEN YOU'RE JUST VISITING
This site is built and hosted on Wix. Wix sets the cookies needed to run the site and the shopping cart, and gives us aggregate visitor statistics — how many people came, which pages they read. We don't use that to build a profile of you, and we don't run advertising pixels or retargeting tools on this site.

WHO WE SHARE ORDER INFORMATION WITH
Only the companies that make an order work, and only the part each one needs:

  • Wix — hosts the site and the store
  • Square — processes your payment
  • USPS and our shipping-label software — needs your address to print the label

That's the whole list. They act on our behalf and can't use your information for
their own marketing.



WHAT WE NEVER DO

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information for anyone else's marketing, and we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. We do not upload your sleep audio. We do not tie your purchase to your sleep data. We have no interest in a profile of you and nothing to gain from one.



YOUR CHOICES

Email sleep@snoreaxis.com and we will, within a reasonable time:

  • send you a copy of the order and contact information we hold about you
  • correct anything that's wrong
  • delete it, except records we're required to keep for tax and accounting
  • take you off the notification list

You don't need an account to ask, and we won't treat you differently for asking.

For your sleep data, there's nothing to request from us — it's on your phone. Delete a session in the app, or delete the app, and it's gone.


CHILDREN

SnoreAxis is not intended for children. The app is not designed for use by anyone
under 18 without express direction from a sleep professional, and this website is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, email sleep@snoreaxis.com and we'll delete it.


A WELLNESS TOOL, NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE

SnoreAxis and the SnoreAxis Sensor Kit provide sleep-position and sound estimates for general wellness and awareness. They are not medical devices. They do not diagnose, treat, cure, monitor, or prevent sleep apnea or any other condition. If you have concerns about your sleep or your breathing, please talk to a qualified healthcare professional.


CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is
significant — if we ever start collecting something new — we'll say so plainly here
rather than quietly editing a line.
